    Atreya Ayurvedic Medical College offers students a complete professional service for better learning and exposure.     Atreya Ayurvedic Medical College has herbal garden with more than 400 species of herbs, climbers, grass, ferns, shrubs and aquatic plants. It also has medicinal trees. The herbal garden is the main resource for the pharmacy to prepare a variety of medicinal products. They include capsules, tablets, churnas, asavas and arishtas, oils, spices and cosmetic products. 
    The students learn extensively from the Dravya guna Dept (herbal dept) about all the medicinal plants and trees. They learn the classification, properties, cultivation and preservation of medicinal plants. This provides them an opportunity to acquire hands on experience about the medicinal value of the plants and learn methods involved in growing and extracting the medicinal ingredients from the herbs.
