Ayurvedic colleges in Karnataka are approved by CCIM, New Delhi and Ministry of AYUSH. Notification dated 01.11.18 by Ministry of AYUSH states that,
All State Government are requested for strict compliance of the instruction of the Ministry and accordingly ensure that admission of students in AYUSH-Under Graduate course shall be mandatorily through the merit list of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG)-2019 [NEET (UG)-2019] for the academic year 2019-20.

BAMS ADMISSION ELIGIBILITY 2019
1. Qualifying Examination:
Student must have passed class 12th with with English as one of the subject and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with minimum 50 percent score in individual subjects. The 12th board should be in the list of Council of Boards of School Education in India.
2. Qualifying Entrance Test:
Student must have qualified in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - NEET (UG) - 2019 for the admission in academic session 2019-20.
3. Age:
The candidate should have completed 17 years on or before 31st day of December of the year of admission.

BAMS ADMISSION FOR NEET QUALIFIED STUDENTS
Students who are qualified in NEET examination and interested for BAMS admission can apply under NEET AYUSH (ISM&H) counselling category as well Management Quota category.
Admission under management quota is on the basis of first come first serve. Candidates having low score in NEET are advised to confirm their admission interest as soon as possible in the the Ayurveda colleges of their choice.
