The Serene greenery of Sayadri Hills of Western ghats is the home for traditional practices of ayurveda since ages. Here Ayurveda is the first line of treatment for human ailments. People here are known for kindness,generousity, culture etc. These very points inspired the mentors of this institution, DHANVANTARI AYURVEDA COLLEGE, HOSPITAL AND RESERCH CENTRE, SIDDAPUR to dream about institution of these lines which was materialized in the year 1996 with inception of Ayurvedic Education.

Today this dream of the mentors stands as a monuments of education with pride of being the only Ayurveda College of this district with full fledged departments, hospital and research centre. In the capacity of Kulapati H. H. Shri Vishwesha Teerth Swamiji is widely known for his spiritual activities and simple living is blessing us. Shri Ganesha Hegde Dodmane is well  known social worker and founder of Modern Shikshana is a driving force behind this reality. With his deep concern towards society and education. Late Shri P. J. Bagilthaya with his innovative ideas helped this institution in its development as Past Secretary.

Hospital - The College is attached with 100 bedded hospital, with all infrastructures for benefit of patients and knowledge hungry students and caters to the needs of the ailing population of the surroundings. The hospital has got the treatment wings as ethically told in Ayurveda like
