Bidar Vidya Kendra was established in 1993 as a non-profit society. Thousands of bright, ambitious students have passed through our doors, leaving a bit of themselves behind when they head off to that first job or graduate school. BVK Akkamahadevi Ayurvedic Medical College, Bidar Karnataka is managed by Society: Bidar Vidya Kendra. Bidar Vidhya Kendra Ayurvedic College, Bidar Karnataka was established in 1998.

Bidar Vidya Kendra (R) Akkamahadevi Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital is situated in Bidar district of Karnataka state (Province) in India.

Bidar Vidya Kendra (BVK) Offeres Ayurveda, Nursing & Pharmacy courses at the Shantiniketan campus.

COURSE OFFERED:
College is training the students for the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery (B.A.M.S.), recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM), New Delhi, Government of Karnataka and the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.

BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medical Sciences) 

ELIGIBILITY:
The students should qualify by 10 & +2 (Science) with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

FACULTY:
A pool of Experienced and Dedicated Post Graduate Doctors of Ayurveda form the Backbone of Our Institute. Qualified and experienced teachers impart Quality Education & Training in the college.

OTHER FACILITIES:
Students are imparted with practical experience in O.P.D. and Hospital with the objective of learning clinical skills of Nidan, Chikitsa, Shalya Tantra, Shalakya Tantra and Strirog - Prasuti Tantra, Kaumara Bhriya. Full-fledged library facility is available with latest editions of Books on Ayurveda and Modern Medical Sciences. Digital Library with Broadband Internet connection is provided for use of Staff and Students.
