Acharya Deshbhushan Ayurvedic Medical College is a proud part of the Latthee Education Society which was established on 13th June, 1951. Located in an area holding calm and quiet, healthy weather, the college has achieved a significant name in the field of Ayurveda. The Principal of the college is Dr. S. B. Hipparage. Today, the college is moving ahead with the purpose of healthiness to the people.

Courses Offered
The college offers a B.A.M.S (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) Degree course with 5.5 years of duration. The compulsory internship of the course is 1 year. Acharya Deshbhushan Ayurvedic medical College has introduced postgraduate courses in various disciplines as per the permission obtained by RGUHS, Bangalore, Dept of Ayush New Delhi and CCIM, New Delhi.

The college has various departments well functioning with qualified staff or faculty. Every department has digital charts, models and specimens. The college is having separate Audio Visual Room with overhead projector, L.C.D., and Computers. The college holds a clinical department that involves various social activities like conducting medical diagnostic camps and surveys in the surrounding villages. Also seminars on health awareness are organised from time to time.
The college carries lots of academic activities such as study tours to a factories, labs, pharmacies, sports, and other competitions.
The college holds an anti-ragging committee which bans ragging from all aspects of the college.
