Established in 1997 in Belgaum, J G Co-Op. Society's Ayurvedic Medical College is one of the premier institutes in Belgaum. The founder president late Shri Jagadguru Gurusiddeshwar Rajayogindra Mahaswamiji had a great belief in Ayurveda. The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. It is recognized by the CCIM and approved by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India.
Courses Offered
The college offers B.A.M.S. degree course which is 5.5 years of duration.The main course is 4.5 years and 1 year of internship is compulsory. Apart from this, the college offers M.D/M.S degree course. The duration of the course is 3 years.
BAMS Admission in Shri J G Co- Op Society's Ayurvedic Medical College Bangalore
As per the rules of the college, candidates need to pass the two year P.U.C. examination of Karnataka or any other 10+2 examination recognized as equivalent thereto with English as one of the languages and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects with not less than 50% of marks in the aggregate of the relevant science subjects of the second year P.U.C examination of Karnataka or any other 10+2 examination recognized as equivalent are only eligible for admission to BAMS Course.
There are more eligibility criteria to get admitted into B.A.M.S like candidates need to be 17 years old to get admitted for B..A.M.S course. The aggregate marks for SC/ST/OBC is 40% after relaxation.
Admission can be done through CET or Karnataka CET. Selection of candidates for admission to professional institution test & counseling or admission can be done through management quota.

The hospital holds a yoga & physiotherapy center in the hospital. The hospital has a separate emergency section 24/7 hours.
