About  Bapuji Ayurvedic Medical College, Chitradurga

The institution is a proud part of Bapuji Education Society. Bapuji Education Society was established by two remarkable personalities such as Mr. D. Manjunath, the Ex-Minister for education, Govt. of Karnataka and Mr. H. Hanumanthappa, the former M.P. and central Silk Board Chairman.

The college intends to train the students in Ayurveda by using modern scientific ways so that they complete their course of study, they will be ready to face the challenges ahead without any setback. It will also encourage the students to involve themselves in ayurvedic research.

One of the specifications of the college is, it has the hospital-integrated modeled medical program in the Karnataka where the clinical experience starts in the beginning. 

Infrastructure and Facilities

The college holds the state of the art infrastructure such as the well-equipped library, anatomy dissection theater,extensive physiology lab, staff-rooms, and conference hall, exam hall & lecture halls. The college provides its students the opportunity to work with the computer, internet facility, multimedia, etc.

The 150 bedded in house hospital is an asset for the college. The super specialty Ayurvedic Hospital, and the vast Herbal Gardens and intensive on-the-job training in the Medicine Manufacturing Unit are the magnificent specifications of the college.

Apart from this, the college holds an extensive library, which is  1800 sq. ft. lodges more than 8100 volumes of books on Ayurveda and modern medicines. It has a dissection hall. The college also performs NSS activities as well as other social activities such as Jata, Medical Campaigns and medical counseling, etc.
