Alvas Ayurvedic Medical College is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University Of Health Science (RGUHS), Bangalore and has the approval from the Ministry of AYUSH, Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM), New Delhi. Apart from this, it is among the hospitals across India which is empanelled under CGHS (Central Government Health Scheme) under which all Central Government employees who are eligible for CGHS can avail medical treatment.
Courses Offered
The college offers an undergraduate course or bachelor degree course in Ayurveda and Surgery (B.A.M.S). It also offers PG program which has expanded to 15 subjects with a total strength of 75 and a Ph.D. program in the subject of Dravya Guna, Rasa Shastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana and Shalya Tantra.
